Information about us

Pauline Fleming, is a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga Teacher and Tisserand Trained Aromatherapist. In May 1994 Pauline obtained her British Wheel of Yoga Teachers’ Diploma (the British Wheel of Yoga is the national governing body for yoga in the UK and has been recognised as such by the Central Council for Physical Recreation (CCPR) and Sport England since 1993)

Pauline attained a Further Adult Education Teacher’s Certificate (City and Guilds 7407) in June 2000, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in July 2003. In April 2007 she was approved to teach the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Levels 1 & 2. Pauline is currently Acting BWY Foundation Course Officer.

In 2009 Pauline completed the British Wheel of Yoga Diploma Course Training and she is now recognised as PDCT for the BWY. Pauline intends to run her first Course in November 2010.

Pauline’s teaching method is based on a uniquely organic and individualised approach and she recognises that each person is unique. She has been inspired by many wonderful teachers including her first teacher, Swami Indrananda Ji (Sri Indar Nath, whom she met in 1982 and studied under his guidance for many years. Pauline also practised the Iyengar style and attended classes with Vaccasin. In 2005 she attended the teacher training course run by Chloe Fremantle who herself is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and Mary Stewart.
